Today we remember a woman who taught others to find their voice and advocate for other’s while quietly negotiating away pieces of her own. She was known by many names. Daughter. Sister. Mother. Friend. Advocate. Reformist. Problem Solver. Mentor. Leader. Strategist. Doer. She cared deeply, carried genuine empathy, felt emotionally, carried responsibility effortlessly and made space for others wherever she went. She helped people see possibilities they could not yet see in the
